If I still had my Cobra I would be all over that.

Nice, but not for 2400.00

It's only money David.

Hell, if I was not planning on getting rid of the Viper I would consider one for it.

Now that would be a worth while change. I like the idea and how it works.

i understand a H-pattern becomes difficult for you.... best to go automatic at your age. (*T

Remember how difficult the 2-3 shift was on our trucks?

Would have been nice for them too.

Don't think it will adapt to my Toploader or Muncie but it is pretty cool. After working an H-pattern for nearly 50 years I would probably forget what I was doing and try to torque the thing to the side and back and forth which would be an interesting spectacle in traffic.

yeah, that was really a pitty design.... due a plastic piece in the clutch pressure bearing ?? i remember i could not go above 5000 rpm to be sure i got it shifted.....does the Viper has any issues with that ????

What's happening John? Is there a new Cobra or Daytona Coupe in the pipeline...?

Nope, no problems with the Viper shifting.

Most of the problem with the trucks was the rubber isolator on the shifter. I removed mine and it was considerably better, but not perfect.

I'm not sure what I'm going to do.

I need a pickup, but I can buy a cheap POS for that purpose. I have a friend that may be moving here from Huntington Beach and he has a Jeep Wrangler and a Ford Raptor. If he does move here I may get another Jeep so we can go out and beat around the trails here. Of which are almost endless.

Truthfully while the Viper is nice, it's not a Cobra and I have never been fully satisfied with the Viper.

Or I may keep it. One never knows.

i assume i can compare a Cobra versus a Viper as my Morgan +4 and the GTN .... the same feeling but at 100 km/h instead of 200....
