Hey Bruce - I was on the now defunct CSX site and saw your posts. You may remember me, as you once generously offered to take me for a spin in your cobra, but I am a little far away in Stratford.

How's life on the boat this summer? Hope you get some time to enjoy your car.

I see you are in construction. I am trying cross over from working for the architects to working for a construction firm, possibly in QA/QC. Just learning about those types of positions, but I am tired of the architects.

  2. Hey Ron, good to be here. Thanks for the info. This site does seem a little complicated. I was going to post a pic to a post yesterday, and couldn't figure it out. LOL! Maybe Bill and I have something in common!

    Bruce,

If you want to use smilies on this site, just click the Go Advanced button. Darren said he was going to try to eliminate that step as he doesn't care for it either. And I am very happy that you joined. Now it will still feel as if the few of us who posted on your site are still together.

About CSX4995
Biography:
I have been a car nut, pretty much all my life. I fell in love with the Cobra when I heard about it, in my teens. I got a Classic Roadster about 6 years ago. It had a pretty hot SB, 5 spd. It was nice, but I really wanted the BB feel. I ordered a CSX about 4 years ago, from the Superformance dealer here in Canada. The dealer ship took $18K as a down stroke then went bankrupt about a year later. I got $15K of the $18K back. I then ordered a CSX from Mark Logan of Shelby Cars NW in Oregon. Less than a year later, I had my car! The 427 Cobra is a scary, fantastic car! I live most of the time on my boat. I have three motorcycles. A Norton, Triumph and a Harley. I just sold the Triumph. I love traveling and have traveled quite extensively. I have now reached a point in my life where I work my summers and spend the winters traveling, preferibly some place warm.
