    Brian,

Thanks for the compliment on the Coupe. John, (RedMt) did a great job restoring it and straightening out the messes the so called expert Cobra builder had made.

    Ron
  2. Thanks for the update Ron. I have been reading many threads on your coupe.

Yes I sdee your PM. I'll try the screenshot again.

    Brian,

The Coupe is mostly finished with the paint and will need the air conditioning completely redone and new tires. Once that is done it will just be some small things. Did you get my PM about the picture of your car?

    Ron

I haven't seen the photo, but I'm sure it is mine. I don't know of any other polished cammers. I will check it out. Darren
  5. Well I'm already into it now.
I'm doing QA/QC for 2 mentel health hospitals. If I do a good job there might be a nice pedded room for me when we finish!

Sorry to hear about the car being gone, but still envious that you had one.

    Someday for me maybe.

Hi Brian, sorry it took so long to get back to you, but I have kinda been incummicado for the past while. Life on the boat is great, and I wiill probably be buying another one in Florida to spend my winters on. I sold the car and it is gone now, but I did have it for 3 scary years! LOL! It was a great car and an absoulute experience driving it! How are things with you? So what kind of construction are you looking to getting in?
  7. Bill - they do look good. Nice job. When I read that you heated them up, I was thinking you were going to say by running the engine a little, but I guess that wouldn't make sense now would it?

Hope your driving weather is good!

    Brian

Brian, I had to paint them as they come plain steel. I used BBQ paint. I first cleaned them well with acetone, then heated them up with my heat gun, before painting. I was very pleased with the result, and the paint is standing up exceptionally well.
