It is nice to see that Ed has a lot of things going and he is far more popular than Mike was in my opinion.

    Where’sEdd 3

It’s the beginning of the British Summer so it’s time to whip out your Mini for the Official London to Brighton Mini Run 2017! We had the privilege of being lead car of over 2000 Minis from Crystal Palace, this time in our bright red sofa car, the Casual Lofa. Thanks to Henry Lynch Films for a great film of the event.

    Ron,

Thanks for the posting. I guess the fringe on the lamp is there to aid the aerodynamics.

I'm sitting here watching Wheeler Dealers right now and I can see why the change was made.

Most of the people that watch these shows want to be entertained and just see the end product with highlights of what it took to get there. Edd spent a lot of time explaining the technical part which most people did not care about and for the most part went over their heads anyway.

For us true wrench turners, it was okay. But unless you turned your own wrenches it was lost on you.

Well that was one of the parts of the show that I liked best as Ed told you what he was doing. I learned a lot from watching him and I like his personality too.

I hope someone (maybe Leno?) that has an interest in cars and has the money will sponsor Ed in a new show.

I haven't followed the entire journey of his new pursuits since leaving WD, but I see that he has started what seems to be a very useful tutorial on car maintenance with Textar, which is what made him "popular" in the first place. I'll have to watch a few more of his episodes before i decide, but based on some of the viewers comments, it's still a mixed bag of feedback...

I've always liked Edd's can do attitude, and I wish him well.

Here are a few of his newer tutorials...

    Brake replacement.
