    Welcome to MikeS

Please welcome MikeS. He is from South Africa and is a friend of Giian's I would apologize to Mike for our issues in making him a member. He applied during our recent troubles and got lost in the shuffle and because of his persistence and with Gian's help he is now a member.

    Welcome Mike,

I hope that you will post some pictures of your cars and let us know about them. I understand that you are getting one of Dubbs Cobras and he builds some really nice ones.

Welcome Mike. Great to have you here!

Dubbs, Q and I met Mike through another Cobra owner friend of ours. He is a real petrol head who has many interesting and unique car projects which he is currently working on. Hopefully he will share some of these with us...

Well, since it seems that Mike is not in the house yet, just a kind request to all other members.
    .
Please don't ask Mike anything about twin turbos. He has got a bit of a problem with them. You didn't hear this from me, but I heard that he is in the process of strapping on a pair of them to his daughters baby stroller...

    Arghh!!!!

Now you've gone and done it Silver.

Now you have to specify which one he must elaborate on or else he might just talk about them all...

Except for being invested in one of Dubbs Spitting Image retro Cobras, Mike is also busy with another more old school type build...

    Remember this thread?
    http://talk.cobraregistry.com/showth...e-in-the-grass

Well, the reason why Gian and myself stopped posting about it, was because Mike thought it good to take it off our hands and to incorporate some of his own ideas into it...

Hopefully he will continue with chapter two "Snake in the grass" for all of us to read, maybe even post pictures for those that can't ;)

Ok, just got news from Mike. He is out the country and playing in the bush, thus no computer time.

He will check in as soon as he gets to civilization again.

    SPITTING IMAGE/LSX 388ci TWIN TURBO
Hi everyone! Here I am! Out the bush. Had some great time playing with 4x4 climbing hills..

Wanted to say Thanks to James, Ron, GianM and Q for helping me subscribe to Cobraregistry.com.

I guess you all now know my issues with turbos, smell of fuel, burnt rubber the scream of V8s and tons of adrenaline! I like designing and building my own project cars.. I also like to work on cars when I do have spare time.
As my friends have mentioned I am busy with 2 cobra projects. I shall start threads on both as they are well deserved to be shared.

    Other projects of mine: 1962 Chev C10 454 twin turbo (in progress$$$), 1991 300ZX twin turbo (broke, engine-in progress$$$), 1996 BMW Z3 V12 twin turbo (Drove- broke, re-build in forever progress$$$).

All of those cars sound impressive and especially with the twin turbos. Maybe Barry will put them on his race car.

Based on Mike's reply, I'm guessing his lawnmower has twin turbos.
