Don't worry - the statute of limitations has long ago passed. Or at least I'm counting on it to have.

Before this Mustang GT350 I was contemplating trying to sell my GTX to look for a 66 Hemi Belvedere/Satellite - I would love to have one. I was drooling over a restored, documented, original engine 66 Hemi Coronet on B-Bodies Forum a few weeks ago. The guy was desperate to sell it and kept dropping his price until he got to $50k which seemed like a good deal for a such a car.

DanEC, my projection is that arguably the B Bodies will continue a Market Correction.

Their day in the sun has passed.

The good news is there may very well be one in your future!

Never mind. Men don't get better with age.

This one is exactly like mine with a couple of exceptions. I never opted for the inside control mirror on the door and I had a dealer installed tach as the Ford tachs for that year were not good. Also on the back in the center circle mine had a Cobra snake instead of that Ford emblem. And the emission control stuff was removed by the dealer as we didn't have testing up here until several years after I got the car. So I had it registered as a Historical vehicle which took it out of that crap. And my wheels had those one off wheel covers.

That's a nice car. Boy, Shelby/Ford has gotten a lot of mileage out of the old cobra snake emblem over the years. I wonder how many different vehicles it's ended up on.

    Dan,

I don't know but I knew a man here that had them on his Ford Ranger pickup with the four banger in it. And I saw an older Volkswagen Beetle that had the stock engine in it with 427 Ford emblems at a car show of all places.

And also on Richard Petty's 69 Cobra. This is one of the cars he won with.

Amazing isn't it. that was back when they had to actually run factory made cars and not the oversize mock ups that France decided to make them build now. Get a car from the factory, strip out all of the un-needed stuff, put in a roll cage and beef up the safety equipment and you were ready to race. Now they don't have to make so many for the public as these phony custom made cars aren't even the same size as the factory cars they try to make people believe they are.

And show me one car that Toyota makes that runs a pushrod V8. It does not exist.

I can't tell what any of the today NASCAR racers are. They all look kind of like a Honda Accord or Toyota Camry.
