    Jack,

Thanks for the link. That is a great write up on the history of the car and the pictures are really great. Here are some of the pictures in a video.

Don't let Nomad near it. He will put a big block Chevy in it if you turn your back.

Congratulations, Mike! That's one beautiful original 289 Cobra you have there.

What are your plans for the car? Do you plan to drive it and share it with the adoring public?

Still figuring out my plans. I'll definitely drive the car and enjoy it. Too fast and fun not to take out! I also just registered to try and get a spot in the Colorado Grand tour that is 1,000 miles in Sept. Maybe some concourse stuff if I get time. Mostly I bought it just to put a smile on my face, and didn't figure it to be too bad of an investment...

Well it's good to see that you live in a part of the country where you will be able to drive it for a large part of the year.

Nope, not as in the Festering Shit Hole.

He's only about 90 miles from where I live.

No offense to anyone who may live in Ohio, but I grew in Cleveland. That's a serious FSH! Happy to be living in a warm state where I can enjoy my cars year round... Phoenix is perfect Cobra weather right now! Already had the car sideways in my neighborhood a few times. It's still difficult for me to reconcile the value of these things with the fact that they are just good old barn storming screamers!
