    Welcome to Indiana Cobra

Please welcome Indiana Cobra (Dave Mullins). Here is what Dave sent to me.

    Hello

I have an original Classics Industries Cobra...

It's currently in the process of being rebuilt due it being what I call hacked up when assembled...I am somewhat a perfectionist when it comes to accuracy and dependability... in which case my car is either.

But when finished it will be a 700HP fire breathing monster!!!
The one line never heard in Heaven "Gee! I wish I had spent a little more time in the office."

    Welcome aboard Dave.

Are you sure 700HP will be enough? I think 800 would be better.

Lets see - a power to weight ratio of about 1:3. Should be able to raise plenty of Hell with that. Welcome.

    Ron,

Thanks!! It's in shambles right now... currently it looks like a train wreck that is in partial assembly...
The dash going back in will be a solid one piece of 110 year old barn wood with the appropriate grain showing...
currently I am desperate to find another hood so I can adapt a scoop to it for the carb to fit under...
The original is the typical small scoop open front. If I could talk Ron Pratt into letting me get a hold of the original Super Snake hood I'd be good to go!!

    Thanks!!

Well if I listen to others and spray it there would be about a 300HP increase!!!

Sorry Dave, Ron sold the Super Snake a little over a year ago.

    Dave,

That sure sounds like a nice dash that you are putting in. What kind of motor are you going to use and is it the one that came with the car? Some of the people that cobble these cars together should have paid to have them built. I am looking forward to seeing pictures and reading about your progress.
