    I would say that the intake is a little restricted. The inlet to the blowers is within an inch of the heads. And needless to say it does not have any air filters.

    I had a Paxton style blower on my Jeep CJ5 V6, and then on my 62 Chevy C10 4X4 with a 350 and in both cases it had enough boost at idle that the flapper valve was closed on the carburetor bonnet.
