I like how the Audi had more than twice the HP over any of the other cars.

thank you Ron, nice cars !
And Silver, the given data are misleading.... numbers from oem cars but not on the Group B Audi..... Most of those cars have sure around 400HP in rally version …. and a shorter diff.

The 320 HP six in line BMW M3 engines used in BMW series 1 rallycars by "my" shop go to 400...450 HP !
But ofcourse you must get all that power to the ground…..

Nowadays almost all rallys here are won by Skoda ( Citro?n , Ford ) R5 cars…. with 300 HP.... but 4WD and factory made "rally" spec. Amazing how quick those are with "only" that power ! In the straights they will loose some , but gain it ten times back in cornering....

You just have to remember that they did not call them the "Killer B's" for nothing.

I was kind of surprised that the Porsche 959 was not on the list.

yes, pitty …. those great B cars…. scary to see.
Now it are all expensive rallycars with the shape of a succesfull model in the lower price range....to boost the "idea"...and sell...
