    New Daytona Coupes

I just read this article about some new, exact re-creations of the Daytona Coupes that are being built. Thought some of you may find it interesting.

    Ted,

That is interesting and I am happy to see them building them like that. Thanks for posting it.

    Ted - thanks for posting.

Peter is also retailing SPF/Shelby Distribution Coupes from his Vegas facility. That was announced a month or so ago.

I suspect these agreements and actions are part of a plan to revitalize Daytona Coupes. For some reason in the past 5 years Coupe sales have stagnated which is baffling to all of us Coupe owners. About 3 years ago Lance (CEO SPF, Hillbank, Shelby Distribution) committed to PR the Coupe and create focus which he did.

Glad to see these actions. They are great cars!

    Silver,

Mine is a somewhat highly modified factory Five Gen 1 Coupe. Not a lot of the stuff on it is what they came with.

We can always count on Nomad for details and precise information. He never ceases to amaze me!

With Nomad he is lucky that breathing does not require conscious thought or he would have died of asphyxiation many years ago.
