    Cobra Crashes Mustang

I think the Cobra driver had a past history of doing this kind of thing.

People showing off on a parade lap.

I know the Cobra club in the Seattle area was banned for a few years at Pacific Raceways due to some of them showing off and one of them damn near hit another car.

Especially not if you are at the Mustang Ranch.

I wonder if something failed on the cobra ... if you slow the video down to a frame by frame the turn into the Mustang is very abrupt.

I suppose he could have been accelerating hard and lost the rear end causing the same thing to happen.

I hate those things even with cheese on them. And then they give me terrible gas.

That's what happened. The car's back end snapped sideways, when he stepped on it hard, and suspension was unloaded from the corner. He just didn't have the skills, or the tires for that. They can come around extremely quickly..

I put a lot of time and money into the suspension on my car, including buying my own set of corner scales.

By the time I got done all it did was squat, get and leave two straight black lines behind me. Too many people spend lots of money on the engine for power and then do nothing for the handling.

i have to agree with Silver.... for once.

on our BMW CSL rallycar the suspension was the most expensive mod…
