    1969 Camaro Versus 1969 Mustang

Not a bad comparison of a couple of the older more desired muscle cars.

Simple choice for me. I would take the Camaro any day.

Camaro every time. The only Mustangs I like are the 65/66 Fastbacks and the 67 Shelby GT's

That's a tough one. The Camaro body is just beautiful and still looks great to this day. But I had two buddies who owned new 69 Mach 1's (alas not 428s) and I spent a lot of time in the buddy seat of them and have always liked them and I know the 428 Cobra Jet can be a beast without 4 bolt mains, aluminum heads or solid liter cam. I wouldn't kick either one of them out of the garage. That's why I have a GTX, a Corvette and my FE Cobra - I like them all. If I had the room I would probably have more of them.

I'm a bit over half way to doing my own comparison but it's going to be a long time before they can pair off.

    Kerry,

Right now I would say the Camaro is in the lead.

Ya, I'd definitely go with the Camaro, especially with that L-89 option. If nothing else, it's a pretty good investment. That option alone puts that car well into the six digit value range.

You make a good point about the value.

Screw the value. Drive the wheels off of them. That is what they are for.
