Got a news flash for you Nomad. It's white in the snow and out of the snow.

    I missed this.

Actually Flagstaff is closer to 7000 feet elevation and gets more snow and cold weather than we do here. It's also a college city so much more liberal than the Prescott area if that is a concern to you.

We actually have people that open carry in grocery stores, churches and other public places.

The snow we get is light and powdery. Not good for snowballs or snow women.

We had another weather change and it was mostly sunny and not to cool yesterday and is supposed to be that way today. But they change the forecast 5 times a day.

Glad I took my car out for a drive on Friday. It sat for a little over two weeks and just barely started. I think it hates the cold as much as I do.

Yea, cold weather really puts a strain on the battery. Mine didn't want to crank over a few days ago after setting for four days in the cold.

We need to paint the house this spring because my senior bride does not like the color.

Not sure what I'm going to do about the carport. It has a lot of dry rot and should be replaced but I'm not sure about how big to make it. I would like a garage, but then that would block our view out of the front of the house and I'm not going to do that.

Chances are I will just replace it with one that it a couple feet wider and about 6 inches higher so the Explorer can fit in it if necessary.

A friend of mine lives in Prescott as well and she sent pictures that didn't show quite as much snow, but any snow is too much in my book. Keep it there. Texas doesn't want any! At least San Antonio doesn't.

We live in the far northeast corner of Prescott in the hills. We are a few hundred feet higher in elevation than Prescott proper.

If I take a left out of our area onto Ironsprings Road I'm out in the middle of nowhere with some nice curvy roads.

Does your friend own a Cobra?

We got six inches of wet heavy snow on Friday night. If it was colder and fluffier it would be 18" or so.

That wet snow is heavy and a pain to shovel if you have to do so. I saw where some places got over a foot or more back in those areas.
