The Kasse P-51 was in my future if I had kept my Cobra.

    He builds some great engines.

He builds some strong FEs also - a 482 FE with up to 800 HP.

Well Dan, this is a secret just between you and me, but if I was to consider a FE, it would be a Jon Kasse FE.

MOPAR actually sells a kit to put a Gen III Hemi in the JL.

Kind of funny that they will sell a kit to do it, but don't do it at the factory. Lord knows they would sell a ton of Hemi powered Wranglers.

How much for the aluminum FE? Is it wet or dry sump?

Almost any engine can be converted to be a dry sump system.

That is a good system. That is what a friend of mine used to make his race car a dry sump and it worked great.

A dry sump system while not cheap, it is inexpensive insurance for your engine if you are planning on tracking your car much.

Exactly, and if I was still doing that I would have one on mine.

I have a Dan Olson racing pan on my car. It holds 8.5 quarts and is baffled and has a scraper. I'd rather have a dry sump but this one is probably good enough for my use.
