    Soft top?!?

It sure doesn't flatter the classic lines of the Cobra, but I suppose if you want to keep the rain and sun out...

    Gian,

I agree with you about it not flattering the lines of the Cobra. That chopped off back just looks odd and I wonder about it keeping out much rain. The inside shot was good.

That is the strangest soft top I have seen on a Cobra.

I wonder how that flat back handles the wind at speed.

It does add some symmetry to the car. The dual fillers reminiscent of the old jaguar dual fillers.

Looking closely, it appears that the third set of lights is on little brackets off the quick jacks.

    Mark, those are red reflectors.
This is an Australian car and we have the same requirement in SA as far as 'road-worthy' certification goes.

This is an uncommon option as far as side-pipe routing goes. Ground clearance would surely be a major concern and they wouldn't work at all for speed-humps (or should that be speed-hills?) in our area...

The fluted reverse and tail lights are typical of some of the UK-based replicas.

The roll bars are kind of unusual in that they don't have a 3rd brace and are color coordinated to the car. Are the back up lights in Post # 629 the small strips below the trunk?

    I would assume so, Ron...

Yes they are Ron, they are from a locally made Ford Falcon (mid 80's) cut in half and then recessed into the body, it is a fairly popular modification out here in Australia.

    Thanks guys,

They not only look good but are in an excellent place to light up the area as you back up. Wish I had thought of that when I had my Cobra. The Coupe is a different story as I have to open the door to see where I am going.
