Hi Dish, and thanks for sharing your wonderful photos -- and pencil+ink drawing -- with us.

I think I recognize these two original Cobras. The silver 427 is CSX3150 and wears reg. no. CB 65. The blue 289 is CSX2105 and wears reg. no. AC 63. Both are owned by the same guy, Joe Calleja.

That's the very first time I have ever seen a Cobra with both the AC and Cobra emblem on it. Could it have actually come that way, or something an owner did??

These have been CG enhanced or Photoshoped some, but I think they would still make nice posters...

    Gian,

Your killing me!!! You post these great photos and as I near the decision point on what color to paint the car you come up with these beauties that throw me into a loop.

I am also reconsidering my tire choice as well; these 15in with the billboards look great...

    Reluctantly thanks for posting.

Carl, I wouldn't call those 'photos' at all - they are entirely computer renderings from the Gran Turismo game ;)

Now that you mention it, yes, that name is very familiar. He must have quite a collection from what I can gather, as I saw it many times at that show. Thank you for the serial numbers, and the compliments

Wow! I am amazed. In any case the multiple choices are making my decision harder but that is life!

Looking through Dish's Facebook albums, I noticed he caught two more Cobras at the Ferrari Club Concours at Como Park in April 2013.

To my eye, the red one looks to be an original AC 289 Sports (aka Cobra), possibly chassis no. COB6114.

I don't recognize the 289 Cobra beside it. Could be a replica.

Dish, did you happen to get any additional info on these cars? Chassis numbers? Owners' names?

Hi SunDude, thanks for posting those. No, unfortunately I was rather rushed and didn't get to speak to anyone linked to those 2 cars. The blue car was interesting in that it was LHD (we drive on the wrong side here after all LOL) and on 'club' registration, meaning that it must have been at least 25 years old to qualify. I hadn't seen either car prior to that day, nor since.
