    Phil,

The video was a real treat and the tour must be a fantastic experience ... I would probably gain 10 kilos and not fit into my car though!

    Phil,

Thanks for the video. That is a beautiful area and the cars were great. It must be a real thrill to get to go on that cruise and then drive around the track.

    Phil,

Thank you for sharing that. The video clip was well shot and well edited. A lot of fun to watch.

Glad you like the clip chaps.

Now, here's one for the diary:

I will be assisting in this new event (3rd and 4th June 2017). His Grace the Duke of Argyll has given his castle, land and patronage to Bill and I, so we can launch the inaugural 'ARGYLL FESTIVAL of PERFORMANCE'. We already have some huge organisations on board and letters from famous racing drivers wanting to take part are starting to come in. Located in a beautiful part of the world, this sprint course and historic racing event will be similar to Goodwood's Festival of Speed, but with a distinct Scottish flavour.

I'm just in the process designing the new logo and corporate style as I write this, but in the mean time, you can find details on this temporary website:

    http://www.argyllfestivalofperforman...ome/4592798831

We already have a number of famous racing Cobras lined-up to take part in the event, too! Watch this space...

    Phil,

That is fantastic news and that place is just beautiful. And with the interest that you already have, it is going to be an event to rival Goodwood very quickly. Thanks for the pictures and I will definitely be looking forward to more news and pictures.

    Thanks Ron.

It might take some time before it could rival Goodwood in any way, but for a new event, it's receiving a lot of interest from the right people. And, that's before we've even started any marketing, or PR.

To work on something like this is an enthusiasts dream! I plan to make sure Cobras play a big part in the event.

    Phil,

That looks like a fantastic opportunity ... It turns out that I may in the area that time of next year. I have a nephew at St Andrews who is graduating (just not sure what dates yet).

If it works I sure would like to attend ...

Common sense prevails: It has been decided that the first Argyll Festival of Performance will take place in 2018, rather than next year. There is simply not enough time to organise an event of such magnitude. I'll keep you posted on dates and content as the plans develop.
