    Cool Cobra performance videos

I did a quick site search and couldn't find a dedicated 'Cobra performance video' thread, so I've started this one, especially with Charles's love for performance videos in mind. Ron if I've missed a dedicated thread, then please delete this one.

I'll start with this one. The question was asked a short while ago, "What makes a Cobra dangerous?". I think this first video is a good illustration for anyone who hasn't driven or felt the acceleration of a Cobra. It goes from calm and docile to rip-your-head-off-your-shoulders savage, in seconds. This is one of the many reasons why we love and respect them so....

Maybe you have a few to share with us,...... and of course, with Charles! ;)

    Gian,

This thread was a great idea and thanks for starting it. Now the videos can be grouped in one thread and people won't have to hunt through all the threads to find one they want to watch again. As I go through the threads and find some I may move them into this thread.

First off, Never be tempted to "show off" in one.
Pucker moments driving a Cobra.. fortunately no one loses a head..probably a tad embarrassed though.

Only worth watching the first 35 seconds, but a prime example of how fast things can go wrong..

Pretty Cool. If I build a second car it will most likely be the coupe!

I love Cobra vs XXX clips - and the Cobra vs the 'mighty ZR1' is fun viewing.

    Carl & Tarren,

Those were great videos and that mountain road looked as if it would have been a fun drive.

Didn't know where else to put this one, cause it's also not a performance video, but its 'entertaining' enough that most Cobra builders can relate to it.

One of the narrators closing comments made me think of all the weird and wonderful characters on this site, and I guess I would have to agree with him..... ;)

"Maybe its not just the Cobra's that are awesome, maybe their owners are a little bit awesome themselves.... "
