"Q", just got home from our local Butcher Shop. Thought perhaps he would have some Boerewors.
    He didn't.
He did tell me that "you can't beat my meat..................... but you can lick my chops".
    I was speechless!
Then he went on to proclaim " I can't do much about our high prices, but bring in your wife and I will ****er".
    Well, I never!
I won't be going back there again.

    Cheers

Well what did you expect from a butcher that doesn't even stock Boerewors?

"Q" that's a good point you've got there......................... you should put on a toque and cover it.

    Cheers

I can cover it, but what would it help if I've got a toque on?

Hey, guys, not to be like some but aren't we wandering a little far away from the threads main topic. Maybe start another thread for this as it is funny.

Psst nomad. Oh boy, now we've gone and done it. Ok nomad, I'll quickly distract Ron by posting some more pictures in line with this thread while you make a run for it. We can join up at that other thread, you know the one.

2011-10-09 Party Boat Cruize on Hartbeespoort Dam.

Although the world cup rugby tried to disrupt our boat cruise, we were able to change the departure time. That gave us enough time to see SA lose 9 to 11 against Australia. The boat cruise was more successful though.

Snakes finding a spot to rest.

    A team worth supporting.

That garage is no good for parking a Cobra...

    Taking in the view.

    Q,

Those pictures are incredible. That is a beautiful place and it looks as if you all had a great time.

Don't worry about my note about straying from the thread. You weren't to far off and a couple of people have mentioned that I should try to keep the threads more in line with the subject which I have to agree with. But don't worry about the threats such as some other sites use. As long as the threads don't completely get out of sight I won't say anything. This site is for fun. The main Forum that I would like to see them stay more on track is the Classified Ads Forum as getting off track there takes away from whoever is trying to sell something.

Some elevated photos taken at the SA 2011 Concourse show. I messed up on the furthest to left photo so I'm posting from the second furthest photo to the left.

These photos were taken quite early so some latecomers might have been missed, but you get the idea. That was the last of the group shots. Some single car pics to follow.

    Q,

Great pictures and that looks like a really nice area for a get together. I took the 69 Cobra for a short drive today as it is like Spring here. Stopped by the new police station they have built just above my upper lot and took a couple of pictures of it in front of the station but I don't know how they will turn out. That bright red is hard to get to look good in the sun. Then drove on down around the loop and stopped at a friends and he is watering his yard. I did see some of the nice cars out driving around today. Had fun until I looked at the gas gage and I have to order another barrel of that expensive stuff next week probably.

It did feel good and I figured I had better do it yesterday as I have to take the dogs in this morning for their shot and it is supposed to rain starting tomorrow evening. Of course since we have the worlds worst weather forecasting that can't be relied on.
