    Nice!

    Darren.
In photo 15, is that led's built into the roll-bar? Do they function as indicators?

I talked to the owner and he showed me how they work. They function as a brake light and indicator. He make the LED circuit boards, drilled the holes and used a fish line to pull the boards in place using foam packed in the roll bar. I was a very cool modification.

Pretoria Cobra at Giovannis Restaurant- Wonderboom Airport, 2009-10-24.

Just a bunch of friends that went for a buffet breakfast at one of the local, smaller airports.

"Q", you inspire me to try and get a solid group of cobra owners together for more events. There are 100's of cobras in Southern Califonia, but most owners are lone wolfs. I get together with a group every 8 weeks and that seems hard to pull off. I have race friends that will do anything at the drop of a hat. I need to find some new cobra buddies to hang out with...

Hey Rodney, Is it time to start another Cobra Club? How about a World Wide Cobra Club with chapters. Let's talk about it on our way up to Kirkham. Darren

    You got it.
It's IS tough getting people together.
Maybe me and Dean (and whoever else of course) could make a point of hitting the far side of the Valley and making one of those get togethers someday.
    Sounds like fun.

2009-11-29, Pretoria Cobra at Cullinan Premier Hotel

Pretoria Cobra took a drive to the little mining town called Cullinan. Better known for the Cullinan diamond, the largest rough gem-quality diamond ever found and also part of the British crown jewels.

Agreed. Would be worth the drive to see the flip-top up close and personal (vs. behind the velvet ropes at the Grand National Roadster Show).

    Great photos! Thanks for sharing.
As long as there is Cobra runs, and photos are taken at those runs and then posted here, this could become the longest thread.

    Q,

Great pictures as ususal and an interesting bit abut the town. In the first picture in post # 69, what is that tan car to the far right? It looks almost like one of the old Packards they used in the Pan Americana Race.

    Charles,

Those are fantastic pictures and you have some great looking Cobras there. You guys are really making me miss mine worse all the time.

I'm a bit out of my league here but I think it could be a 1936 (or so) Packard 4 door. But that is also only a guess.
