    Welcome to double-rr

Please join me in welcoming double-rr (Russ Rittimann). Here is what Russ had to say.

    Jim

Yes, Im real. I am in the process of building a Hurricane Motorsports Cobra replica (HM-2005). I just took it this last weekend to have the body work done so it is well along.

I just found out about Cobra Registry so will be a regular visitor.

    Russ,

We are looking forward to your posts and some videos when you start driving the Cobra. Carl keeps promising videos of his drives but then he started dragging his feet on his build. $@)

Welcome to "Cobra Funs"!!! Hope to see pics/vids of your cobra soon. You have enough time to shake her down before the next Texas Cobra meet in San Marcos next March.

Watch out for that Mark guy that Gian mentioned for sure.

So you got the car delivered, how long before the trip to pick it up?

Thanks guys. Having a bit of an issue getting some photos uploaded. Got a PM to Jim for some assistance. Glad I found this forum. Quit posting on the other one. Couldn't do anything right according to those guys.

I even found my car in one of the TCC pictures posts. Mine has been the one parked in front of the Hurricane trailer without the body at TCC. Hey, if I can bring mine naked without the body (absolutely no modesty here), no one has any excuse that they can't show their car because it isn't finished yet. Every nut and bolt on mine gets scrutinized unmercifully every time I bring it.

That pix of Jay's GT500 (and the GT350 from a couple of years ago) at the TCC brings back some memories. I had a lot of fun riding in the backseat as I believe it was sized for a midget without legs. I'm 6'3" and that ding blasted seat belt harness that Shelby put in that hangs from the roof gets tangled up in my legs every time getting in and out. Tried riding back from Blacks BBQ in a continuation CSX-4000 but don't fit in that car either. Luckily I fit in the Hurricane. BTW, don't believe anything Jay says. Or Mark.

Car is at David Braddy's as of last Saturday. Tells me it will be two months. He does some really good work. Just having the body work done and fitting the panels for now.

I'll post some pix as soon as I figure out how.

    Russ,

You can edit your post above and see the syntax for putting the picture in the post. Just go to your Album, click on the picture to expand it, then right click and copy the pictures URL. When you are ready to put it in the post you can do it two ways. One is click the small picture icon at the top of the post, , and paste the picture URL in the place it shows then click OK and that ill put the picture in the post with the tags on it. The other way is basically the same except you have to add the IMG tags manually. To do that just do the same as above when going to your Album and then when you are ready to put the picture into the post just paste the URL there and add the IMG tags at the beginning and end of the URL.

And I like the looks of your Cobra and that first picture is impressive.
