    There is one of our locals busy putting a Viper engine in his Cobra but I have not been around to go have a look at it just yet. Thus, I thank you for the preview. Looks very neatly done.

    Thanks, Rodney. The 58 mm IDAs do grab your attention when you open the hood, and the engine runs pretty good with them on there too.

    Not as flashy as some, but I went for the brushed aluminum racer look. I did to my engine what the Kirkham guys do to their entire exterior. LOL

    About a week after that picture was taken I installed the full mechanical distributor, so the vacuum pot is gone.

    I have always liked the simple race car look of your engine compartment also.
