    Cobra Stripe Combinations

Let's post some different stripe layouts.

I'm a bit of a fan of the gumballs myself.
There's a Kirkham out there with some creative stripes in the front.
Darren, show the stripes of your first fliptop!

+1 here. The third layout with status stripe on the outsides of the main ones looks better if the main stripes are the original width.

    Nomad,

That was the only car that I ever had that I almost cried when I had to let it go. I miss it all the time. One thing for sure, I will never have another one that handles as well as that one did and was as reliable. And I drove it hard a lot of the time. And now my cousin has turned it into a SHOW car and cruiser. The shame of it all. He hasn't modified anything but he is just afraid to really get on it. When he came out here and I took him for a ride over to the dam and through the mountains he said he had never been around curves that fast and especially ones with 1,000' drop offs on one side and no guard rails. So he at least knows what it can do with a driver that isn't afraid to push the edge a wee bit.

I think these are close to the original width.

Now there's a scheme I would never of thought of!

Well executed, a nice combo of muscle with a touch of class.

    Bill,

That is a very nice Cobra. Is that a gloss black or a dark blue? Boy, are you in for some fun now. I envy you.

    Hotfingrs,

Your car is really coming out great. You have did a great job for your first try. If it had been me doing my first paint job I would have tried to get one of my friends to let me practice on his first.
