Looks more like a red X cross stipe in a square box...

I could see it, but have reposted so hopefully it will be more visible.

I don't have any trouble seeing it.
Q,
It may be the camera angle but that black stripe almost makes it look as if the front end is a little odd shaped. I like the 57 Chevy in the background too.

Camera wasn't available so a Cellphone had to do. The Cobras shape was just fine...

It's there now, wasn't before.
I believe the Chevy is a 56... The 57 had two bullet hood ornaments and three fake louvers on the side. The 55 had a big square grill.
Deadly looking beast!
Cheers

I know it's bold, wide and in your face... but I think I like it!!!

Q,
Those are very nice cars and the first one is bold and in your face, but once it is being driven I don't think anyone will notice that. I believe the width of the stripe without much of a break on either side makes it look a lot wider than it is, though it does cover the whole front opening.

Hi Q. Interesting pics you posted here. I'm going to take a wild guess here. Did you get these pics from JohnSpeeds website. That might be the car we bought from him. Took me about 18 months to rebuild it, and yesterday I took it on it's maiden voyage..Originally Posted by Q";11182][B][SIZE="4
Needs a good polish now..
I like the blue one.
After looking at all of Q's various options, I'm quite convinced that my stock looking twin stripes would get odd looks and laughed at if I drove my car in SA.
The SA crowd is very creative and they definitely go beyond the norm with their cars. Makes for a less boring Cobra car show, that's for sure!

No, I actually went to Johney Eekhout's place to look at that Cobra. I was very tempted to buy it for myself as I really liked the paint scheme and the idea of running the BM suspension.I'm going to take a wild guess here. Did you get these pics from JohnSpeeds website.
Good to know where that Cobra went too and that it is on the road now. Have fun on this site and with your Cobra.
Your Cobra is looking good!
