That is a nice Cobra. Does he have a screen across the front air intake? Janet, I think yours should be black with a silver stripe and the red trim. What a combination that would make. And of course you need more horsepower than Neels has.

Yes it is some screen he still wants to chance it, he is not happy with it. But you now how it is a Cobra owner is always changing something. I can see the colors. I was more thinking of black with a little but of brown mother of pearl and then Gulf blue stripes like Neels's. Remember the pearl is to still show I am a lady

The only problem I can see with more power is. Neels. Wanting to drive it. I'll have to hide the keys.

I know the problem with always fooling with the car. When I was racing mine I put a heavy screen across the air intake to keep rubber and rocks from the other cars flying up and into the radiator. But I took it out when I wasn't racing as I didn't like the look of it. Then I ran hoses from the side air intakes to where they blew on the brakes. I must have tried a hundred stupid things to get another horsepower out of that car. And it was already over powered. But I had fun thinking up things to try.

Your color combination sounds like it would be great. Get Q to make you a picture of one like that with his photo shop program and you can see exactly what it would look like and if you would want to make any changes in it.

Remember the pearl is to still show I am a lady : You don't need colors to show that. Your posts alone would tell any intelligent person that you are indeed a lady.

Thanks. I will be waiting. I hope it makes it quicker than the book that I sent to Q, as he still hasn't received it. I may have to buy another one and see if I can get it to him. Our mail service here is a disaster and they can't understand why they are losing billions of dollars a year. The simple explanation is that is is a Govt. ran business.

Thanks for Posting those pics Neelsbam.
I certainly like the format of those stripes, as I do on your Cobra as well.
They seem to be such a "fit" to the appearance of the car, I wonder if anyone at Shelby American had contemplated them on the Originals.
