    Carl.

I have followed the prices for a long time and they have sort of flattened out, especially for Cobras with no racing history or those that aren't in really top shape. If all of us went together we could maybe now afford one.

I can afford the air in the tires. Provided it's just shop air and not nitrogen.

I can afford the steering wheel. Now if Nomad will just kick in for the rest.

I was looking at the photo album of this car and there's something that puzzles me. It looks like it has a Hurst Line Lock (button attached to the shift lever), but what is the little "shifter knob" that is sticking out of the floor behind the transmission shifter ? I've never seen anything like that before. Maybe a reverse lockout ????

That second knob behind the shifter is strange.

I was wondering if it was a Gear Vendor overdrive unit, but there is not much room for one. That was the only thing I could think of.

Ya, I had a lot of weird thoughts when I saw it, like "what the hell, is this thing four wheel drive !". It kind of reminds me of cars back in the '50's that had the two speed Columbia rear ends. Anyway, apparently it's a mystery to all of us.

It doesn't say what that is but the car has undergone a lot of modifications since it was first bought. Perm the registry it was changed into a drag car, two fours were added then taken off and an injection unit was put on. Body was modified for larger wheels and tires and wheelie bars were added. Then it was sold again and a lot of that stuff was taken off and the last owner has returned it to a single four barrel carb and put it more back to a street type car. The car was originally built with no scoop or roll bar.
