no big deal Silver, ...on a Porsche 928. Just 26 bolts under the car to demount and the rest can be done from above. Even easy acces to all of them !

    4 engine support
    2 starter motor
    2 slave cilinder
    6 cover under clutch
    2 shaft coupling
    2 schaft coupling giding
    2 engine - bellhouse ( another 2 from above )
    6 exhaust

and you're done ! time for a beer

This weekend we drove a 3 days rally in France , starting in La Bresse. We ( me and wifey ) did this already 2 times ( 2014 and 2016 ) now it was alot more difficult ... many maps to read/drive , so the navigation was to complex for wifey. We were Lucky to stay on "track" sometimes.... and it became more stress then fun, o well , we ended 25 on 33 in our class....

the moutain roads are so beautifull ... and a joy to drive.

Great pictures Barry. The scenery is really nice and the car looks good too. It doesn't even look dirty.

indeed Ron , all paved roads , no gravel. We did had some rain by times , but mostly dry . And the average speed was "low" , so no need to cut corners .....in the dirt and risk of breaking something on sharp edges of the road pavement. Mostly the asphalt is poured above the rocky ground ....so steep edges !

    Barry,

You would probably do better if you didn't have your wife jump out of the car to take pictures and then you have to wait for her to get back in the car.

    Barry,

I hope you don't let her read this stuff. If she does you are dead.

nono James.... we knew it from the beginning , getting the first roadbook. That was a level to high for her. Honest , for me to
I tryed it , now at home , to drawn the roads to follow on one of the regularity tests ..... and it takes me also way to much time , compared to the time one has in the rally schedule. If you get 45 minutes behind, you are "out" ..... we once were the third last car they were waiting for......

no , that was stuff for my prof copilot Julien !

so we cheated alot.... by following another car , in the hope "he" was right .....

    Barry,

That looks like a hell of a lot of fun. Wish we had more of that sort of thing around here. But, I could certainly see where having your wife as navigator could lead to a divorce

    Thanks for sharing.

Okay WaffleHead, are you brave or stupid for making your wife the navigator? I'm betting on stupid.

By the way, were are the pictures of your wife nekkid?

Well WaffleHead, it appears that they don't love you as much as I do.

We all love Norbert. I'm just lazy. After the last great cluster f==k I need some time off for bad behavior.
